It’s the second National Signing Day. Very little activity is expected to be coming out of Alabama. Two prospects are possible commits, but this Class of 2022 is pretty much wrapped up. Check out my predictions from yesterday.

NOT SIGNING

ON THE CLOCK

TRANSFER PORTAL NOTE

Last June, the SEC amended a rule that would allow transfers within the conference without having to sit out a year. However, in order for an athlete to be eligible immediately at their new school of choice, they must declare their intent to transfer by February 1 (yesterday) for fall sports.

I remember when Signing Day was special...thanks NCAA

Fax girl auto rec.

Ah, I can see it now... (insert name) has chosen Eastern Montana Tech over the mighty Crimpsun Tahd! Whoa! This will reverberate through CFB like a vibrator up a woman's hoo-hah!

Unless that woman is Miss Terry I don't see how anything vibrating in a woman's hoo-hah could reverberate through all of college football.

I'd rather not think about Miss Terry using a BOB (battery operated boyfriend), buuuuuuut since we're on the subject!

#FireBOB!!!!

#DieseloperatedBOBNOW

Easy now

It’s dark as a dungeon… way down in the mine.

And I’m done, k? No moar.

That’s about as obvious as a Boner in a speedo

Most would think.

"Boner in a speedo" auto-REC engaged!

R.I.P.

He deaded'd?

Suicide

Do we have any fast WR’s on board for this class?

Would be nice to have another Ruggs, waddle, Jamo, type of deep threat

Is Bond fast enough for you?

Yeah given the time it takes to get to max speed, without knowing his splits I'd say that's a GROSS approximation.

However 10.48 100M is pretty good.

Just for fun, here were Jamo's Outdoor T&F times...

High Jump
6-0
Long Jump
22-11.5
100 Meter Dash
10.54
200 Meter Dash
21.23
300 Meter Hurdles
37.28
400 Meter Dash
47.18

the difference between 10.54 and 10.48 isn't insignificant. Also here are comparable for Isaiah in other areas.

100 Meter Dash
Jamo 10.54 IB 10.48
200 Meter Dash
Jamo 21.23 IB 21.05

Here’s a quote from his coach who believes he’s actually faster than this.

"This kid is so naturally gifted at running and he’s one of the smoothest kids I’ve ever seen," Buford coach Fyrone Davis said. "If he would run summer track one year, he would probably go 10.2 in the 100. He would probably go 20.5 in the 200. People don’t understand, it never got really hot here (this season). Even right now, I think he could go 10.3 range, 20.7 just based on the temperature and the track being really hot and faster to run on."

This dude could legitimately be faster than Jamo.

Which is cra

cuz our last player to "dabble" in T&F was Crazy Tony who made it to the Oly trials with around a 10-flat, IIRC.

His fastest was a 10.12 which is insane. Though he was most consistently around a 10.3

But he didn’t have the benefit of the mad scientist we have now.

how does that translate to the 40

Asking for a friend

He's prolly a 4.3 guy

https://www.milesplit.com/calc?time=10.48&event=100m

All depends on build and if they are a "burst" guy or a "top-end" guy.
There are multiple football players that could beat Usain Bolt in the 40, but would get smoked by at least 15 meters in the 100 against him.
